A little support makes a big difference

Encourage to seek support if they need it

You can help a carer find support that works for them by becoming more educated on dementia and the services available.

You can read The Dementia Guide to be more informed, or call the National Dementia Helpline (1800 100 500) to find support groups and services in their area.

You can also register to become a Dementia Friend. As a Dementia Friend, you will build an understanding of dementia, the challenges faced by people living with dementia, what a dementia-friendly community means to people living with dementia, and how to support people living with dementia to stay connected.
