A little support makes a big difference

Talk to friends and family regularly about the type of support you need

As with seeking emotional support, give yourself permission to ask for and accept help when you feel you need it. Try to involve family members, friends and professionals and share responsibilities. This will take some of the pressure off you.

Setting up a time for regular check ins can also help some carers feel less socially isolated.
